AGE GROUP DESCRIPTIONS:

PEEWEE Baseball

Enrolled in Pre-K (enter K in the fall) or Kindergarten in the current School Year

PINTO Baseball

Current School Year: Enrolled in 1st Grade or 2nd Grade

MUSTANG Baseball

Current School Year: Enrolled in 3rd Grade or 4th Grade

BRONCO Baseball

Current School Year: Enrolled in 5th Grade or 6th Grade

PONY Baseball

Current School Year: Enrolled in 7th Grade, 8th Grade, & 9th Grade

INFO FOR ALL AGES:

This league is an introduction to baseball and softball. Practices will start in early April. Before the games start in early May they will practice 1 or 2 days a week in the evenings or during the day on the weekends. When games start they might practice 1 day a week or maybe not at all depending on the schedule. They will usually play 1 game a week in the evenings. There are some weeks they could have 2 games per week. 

MTZYBS will provide a baseball hat for the boys.  We use the MTZYBS red/black reversible jerseys for this league.  If you don't have one you will need to purchase one for $20.00.  You will have the option of doing this later in the registration process. 

The kids in this league wear white or grey pants that the league DOES NOT provide.  You can get these at Walmart or Play it Again Sports.  Your child will also need a glove.  If you have a bat that is a plus but other kids will have them to use.  The league will supply the batting helmets.
