Registration for 2012 Baseball & Softball @ MCGAUGHEY SCHOOL!!!
MTZYBS will hold registration for the upcoming 2012 baseball & softball season on 3 day during Febuary. This year registration will be held at McGaughey School on the following dates; Thursday Feb 9th @ 5pm-7pm Wednesday Feb 15th @ 6pm-8pm Saturday Feb 18th @ 9am-1pm
Fall Bags Tournament @ Sliderz Bar & Grille: Saturday October 15th starting at 1pm!!!
MT. Zion Youth Baseball & Softball is happy to announce it will hold a fall bags tournament on October 15th at Sliderz Bar & Grille. All proceeds will benefit the youth baseball and softball program in Mount Zion. Click here for a registration form and tournament details
12U Travel Coach selected for 2011-2012 softball season:
Guy Brown has been select as the 2011-2012 12U travel softball coach for Mount Zion Youth Softball. An informational/sign-up meeting will be held Wednesday August 17th @ 5:30pm behind diamond 1 in Mount Zion. Any girls younger than 12 years of age on or before 12/31/2011 and a resident of Mount Zion are eligible to play. If you have a child interested in playing next season and unable to attend the informational meeting, please contact Guy @ 12sSoftball@mtzybs.org for more information.
10U Travel Coach selected for 2011-2012 softball season:
Bill Hurm has been select as the 2011-2012 10U travel softball coach for Mount Zion Youth Softball. Try outs for the team will be held Saturday August 13th @ 10am & Sunday August 14th @ 2pm on diamond 7 in Mount Zion. Any girls 10 years old on or before 12/31/2011 and a resident of Mount Zion are eligible to try out.
Farm Coaches feedback meeting: Tuesday September 13th @6pm
Prior to the scheduled September board meeting the MTZYBS board would like to invite all 2011 farm league coaches to meet the board and discuss the season, offer constructive feedback on adjustments and help plan for the upcoming 2012 season. If you coached a team during the 2011 season please plan to attend as you suggestions and guidance will be invaluable to improving the program for children in the upcoming seasons.
Girls Travel Softball Tryouts, Hold the date!!! Saturday August 13th, locations and times TBD
MTZYBS will hold tryouts on August 13th, 2010 for Girls interest in playing 10's, 12's & 14's softball. Mark your calendars today and stay turned for more details to be poster in Early August.

Calling all area Travel Coaches, Mount Zion Youth Baseball and Softball would like to announce that they will be hold selections for the 2012 baseball and softball travel coaches on Aug 2nd, 2011. Coaches interested in coaching boys baseball ages 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, or 14's or girls fast pitch softball 10's, 12's and 14's age groups should apply in person 7pm, August 2nd @ the Mount Zion Lion's Center. MTZYBS Farm League Coaches - Equipment Return Date: Saturday July 23rd, 9:00-11:00am@ Mount Zion Lion Center Equipment Shed. Farm League coaches of all age groups should return their equipment during 9-11am. Coaches who had keys to the pitching machines should turn them in along with the equipment. 2011 League Raffle Ticket Winners Announced:
