Extra player rule may be used.If you start the game with it then you have to finish the game with it.If a player gets hurt and you have no available sub to put in, then there will be an out recorded in that players spot in the line-up every time he comes up to bat.
Pitchers are limited to 12 innings per week. After 4 innings a pitcher must have a 40-hour break from pitching. (Ex. Pitch 2 innings on Mon. and 2 on Tue. That pitcher could not pitch for 40 hours from his last pitch.) If 40 hrs has past from a previous outing it does not count towards the 4-inning period that would require the 40-hr break. (Ex. Pitch 2 innings on Mon. and 2 innings on Wed. (48hrs later) the pitcher could still pitch Thursday but would be limited to 2 innings) At no time can a pitcher pitch more than 12 innings in a week.
Pitcher may only hit 2 batters in same inning or 3 batters in a game. When those numbers are reached, the pitcher is removed from pitching.
2-hour time limit from the scheduled starting times not the first pitch or 7 innings. No inning can start after the 2-hr limit. Finish the inning you are in. If you are the 6:00 game and there is an 8:00 game after your game then no inning can start after 7:50.
All players must play 2 innings.
Bases are 70 feet and pitching is 48 feet.
Re-entry rule is used: The starter taken out for a sub can only go back in the same line-up place (for the same sub). Then the sub taken out may not re-enter no where else in the game.If you put a sub in for a starter, then a different sub in for the sub, then the starter and 1st sub are done for the game.
If a player is hurt or removed from game, just skip his time at bat with no out recorded. Exception: If you are using the extra player rule. Refer to RULE 3
You can pick up a player from another team to play for your team if you have eight or less players. Players can play up in age and no player is allowed to play down as a pick up player. The players may not pitch for this team and must bat last in the order.
If one team is winning by 15 runs after 4 innings or 3 ½ if the home team is leading, the game is over.
